HERBAL SUPPLEMENTS AND SURGERY

Prior to attending a surgery, the patient is required to provide a list of all supplements taken to include those used to ease upset stomach, relieve headache, and lower cholesterol. However, it is important that the patient should not forget to mention herbal supplements being taken. Even if the herbal supplement has not presented any harm, it must be understood that it could present some risks during surgery:
